Off spin with Jeetan Patel
Off spin with Jeetan Patel
Key points
A right-handed off spin bowler will turn the ball from the off side to the leg side when bowling to a right-handed batsman.
Get a good firm grip on the ball with your fingers spread widely across the seam
Run in with your eyes level and look a where you want to land the ball
Bowl the ball by turning your wrist vigorously to spin it hard
For off-spin turn your wrist clockwise and rip your finger down the seam
Now get a ball, grab a mate and head out to the backyard to have go.
