Pull shot with Martin Guptill
Pull shot with Martin Guptill
Key points:
You need to keep your head still, your eyes level and focused on the ball
As the bowler delivers the ball, swing the bat straight back straight and keep your hands in close to the body, cocking the wrists
At the same time move the back foot back and across to the off stump. This will keep your head in line with the ball.
Rotate your shoulders and at the same time swing the bat down and across from high to low to hit the ball in front of the body with your arms fully extended.
Remember, practise makes perfect so get to the nets and give it a go.
