Throwing with Martin Guptill
Throwing with Martin Guptill
Key points:
A run-out can turn a match so having a good throw is a massive advantage.
Hold the ball with two fingers across the seam and your thumb underneath the ball
Turn side-on and point your shoulders and non throwing arm towards the target
Step forward with your weight going towards the target
Look at the target and throw the ball
Follow through after releasing the ball
Off to the park to put it into practice.
